Business Entrepreneur, Nissim Nissimyan,
CEO of Eurotech Communication, Rosh Pina
18 months ago Eurotech Communication - developing innovative telecommunication solutions - became part of IVN's Economic Initiative targeting small to medium size businesses with untapped growth potential. The initiative was established three years ago - after the 2nd Lebanon War - to stimulate business growth in Israel's periphery through a model of consultancy, mentoring and micro financing, combined with strengthening and empowering regional business consultants and MATI's (Small Business Development Centers).
After a year and a half in the program, mentored by business executive Amir Rosenzweig, the company headed by founder and CEO Nissim Nissimyan is grateful for IVN's assistance leading to real growth and expansion. The company is exporting 80% of its products, and in the past year has significantly expanded its outreach, using methods of strategic planning and redefining strategic markets and clients. 2009 is showing over 50% growth in the company's export activity.
Nissim, born and raised in the Northern town Kiryat Shmona, is an engineer by profession. He established the company after spending many years in the U.S: "when relocating back to Israel, it was important for me to live in the north as part of my Zionistic philosophy. When I realized that there are no hi-tech positions available in this peripheral region, I decided to establish the company. Now I'm not the only hi-tech professional in the area - I have 25 hi-tech employees working in the company".
