Become a Mentor

Mentors are members of the IVN Network, who are some of the leading technology entrepreneurs in Israel and the US with many years of business, strategic, technical and financial expertise to share.
IVN has introduced mentorship and management know-how as key ingredient of our methodology across all our initiatives. Mentorship is done on a volunteer basis. Every entrepreneur receives close guidance from at least one designated and dedicated mentor volunteer throughout the fellowship period. The mentor makes a commitment to provide ongoing guidance and support to an entrepreneur.
They support the entrepreneur by sharing their business knowledge, expertise and contacts to help the entrepreneur develop a successful and sustainable initiative. Each mentor puts in an average of 8 hours a month. 
The mentor receives guidance and training before the mentoring process begins and during the course of the mentoring process in the form of 2-3 workshops, seminars and forums over the course of a year.  In these meetings we present and explain the general framework of the program, define roles, set expectations, present and explain the mentoring tools we developed for their use, brainstorm, get feedback, exchange experiences and give support.

Mentor a business entrepreneur
As part of our economic development program in the South, we are seeking volunteer mentors for local business consultants and local businesses. The mentor is expected to assist the consultant and the business owner/s by coaching on long-term strategic development of the businesses and expansion processes.

Mentor a Social Entrepreneur
As part of IVN's Social Entrepreneurship (SE) Program, we are seeking volunteer mentors. Our SEs are highly entrepreneurial individuals dedicated to developing and implementing innovative and sustainable social/economic solutions in Israel and beyond, empowering people and communities to create positive, sustained change.
